What is Online Learning?

Online Learning is an umbrella term that describes learning done at a computer, usually connected to a network, giving us the opportunity to learn almost anytime, anywhere.

Southern Alamance High offers Online Learning courses via NCVPS. NCVPS allows students the opportunity to take high school courses online, and NCVPS also has a program called Credit Recovery that allows students to retake courses online that they failed in the face-to-face classroom.

Online Learning is a flexible option that can suit anyone who wants to achieve success!

Course Lists for NCVPS

NCVPS course lists are available for the 2011-2012 academic year. Please visit the links below to see the available courses offered via NCVPS. Students must complete an online application to begin registration for online courses. The link to the application is located below in Announcements and also to the right in the Links menu.

After School for Online Students

Computer Access is available after school Monday through Thursday from 3:15pm--4:15pm in the M-1 Lab for ANY student taking online courses. It is a good way to stay caught up and ahead of the game! Please come see me if you have questions.
